The right-wing tabloid controlled by Rupert Murdoch slammed former President Donald Trump's "damning" inaction during the Capitol riot.

The New York Post’s editorial board slammed former President Donald Trump in a Friday editorial that called him “unworthy” to hold office again following his “damning” silence surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

“As his followers stormed the Capitol, calling on his vice president to be hanged, President Donald Trump sat in his private dining room, watching TV, doing nothing,” the editorial begins. “For three hours, seven minutes.”

The editorial by the right-wing tabloid, controlled by longtime Trump supporter Rupert Murdoch, follows the Jan. 6 House select committee’s investigation into Trump’s inaction, which on Thursday laid out Trump’s unwillingness to call off the violence.

“Trump only wanted one thing during that infamous afternoon: to pressure Vice President Mike Pence to decertify the election of Joe Biden,” the editorial board said. “He thought the violence of his loyal followers would make Pence crack, or delay the vote altogether.”

Last month, the newspaper’s editorial board called Trump a “prisoner of his own ego” for his inability to admit the 2020 presidential election was not stolen from him. The board added that the GOP should leave Trump behind.

Thursday’s editorial was even more to the point.

“It’s up to the Justice Department to decide if this is a crime,” it concluded. “But as a matter of principle, as a matter of character, Trump has proven himself unworthy to be this country’s chief executive again.”

If he wins in '24, it will tell a whole story about where America is right now. And it would be a very sad story.

I hope our better angels will prevail.

I run my own mind. Also while NYP claims to be conservative all too often I find them spewing WOKE BULLSHIT, which makes be wonder how WOKE the organization is. I do look at them everyday but I take everything with a grain of salt.

EDIT: Is is very common for members of the WOKE Revolution to masquerade as conservatives as they drive for power, I am very sure that this even happens at JPP.

It's not "woke" to suggest that a real leader would have called off the mob minutes into that riot, instead of watching for 3 hours, gleefully.

The truth always looks bad for Trump.

If you think that those who like Trump take NYP very seriously you likely will be proven wrong. MAGA does not trust authority, especially corporate sources. Claiming to be conservative does not help given how dishonest and useless those at the top of the conservative hierarchy have been over the long haul, and how many have been cucks for the left.

This has zero to do w/ the NYP. What they wrote is NOT wrong. You haven't refuted that, and cannot.

How the fuck was the diseased orangutan qualified to hold any office at any time?
Was it qualified when it descended the Trumpanzee Tower escalator to initially announce its candidacy?

It got over 74,000,000 votes, however. Do you still have hope for America? Are you fucking crazy? Dissolve the republic now.

Some WOKE posted by NYP a few hours ago:

But by 11 o’clock, an officer from the Ward County Sheriff’s Department walked up to the mic and announced that the concert was canceled. Unsurprisingly, the 18,000 -strong audience was not pleased and began to trash the joint.

What almost never happened in Old America is now proclaimed expected, reflecting the Revolutions hostility to standards of any type to include standards of civility, and as well shitting on a state (North Dakota) which contains more enemies of the Revolution than they would like.

tRump was unworthy to hold any public office, especially in 2016 when it took for him to conspire with foreign enemies and the repuke enemy from within to lawlessly hack his hide in there that came with a curse of epic proportions. This atrocity in violation of U.S. Constitutional law, the 1965 Voting Rights Law signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson, and the 2016 will of the majority voter that did not vote for Putin's lap bitch tRump. Yet, the only space tRump is worthy to hold is a 8x6 prison cell for the rest of his squalid and criminal life. To be a tRump kisser is to be a un-American scab who are apparently ok at possibly making it to hell with tRump when it is over for their deplorable hides.

Is it a "RINO" paper now?

Because that's the deal. That's what a "RINO" is now. It has nothing to do w/ being a conservative anymore. It just means you don't worship Trump.

President Trump told the demonstrators to march peacefully.

Most did.

A female, UNARMED AF veteran was murdered by a Capitol guard and zero, zip, nada has been done to him.

Case closed.
