House passes bill codifying same-sex marriage, with Republicans joining Democ

You seem to have missed the last part of Section 8 where it says - To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.
Read this part again.

What you are proposing is that they can treat them differently.
Nobody is being treated differently.

It is being violated the minute a married couple's rights are being treated differently in one state compared to another.
This is not happening.

Your attempt to run away from your argument is noted.
I haven't ran anywhere.

Are you now claiming you never said states should decide the issue of "same-sex marriage?"
No. -- It is a State level issue. It is not a federal one.

Nope. There is no 14th Amendment issue here.

However, the following Constitution sections are relevant here:

Article 1 Section 8
Article 6
Article 7
Amendment 10

You can't rewrite the Constitution to suit your desires, Sybil.

All Americans have unalienable rights. All human beings do too but the US Constitution only empowers the Federal government to protect American rights.

I think he's trying to make sure we know he is a fucking moron. SCOTUS says it is a Federally protected right. gfm and his many socks are all incredibly stupid.

....and/or insane. Liars lie and know they are lying. Stupid and/or insane people don't know they are pushing lies because they are either stupid or insane. In Sybil's case, his forum is both evidence he's not below average in intelligence and also clearly insane.

So you are arguing that Congress has no power to enforce the US Constitution and pass laws that require states to follow the Constitution?

By the way.. You really should try reading the US Constitution.
This is part of the 14th amendment...

Section 5

The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

So clearly, Congress has the power to pass laws that can be construed to create equal protection. That means Congress can pass laws that give same sex marriage equal protection.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL you're too funny.

You can't pretend-away my argumentation, dude.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO too funny!

I can't pretend away an argument you never made. But it seems you want to pretend you made one when all you did was kept citing the US Constitution while never explaining how or why it supported your argument and ignoring the parts of the Constitution that showed your premise to be full of shit.

It was made, and you pretended it away.

Continued pretending on your part.

and ignoring the parts of the Constitution that showed your premise to be full of shit.
You quoted irrelevant sections while bastardizing them.
