july 21 2022MINNEAPOLIS – Former Minneapolis police officer Thomas Lane appeared in federal court Thursday morning and was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for violating George Floyd’s civil rights, ABC News reported.

Lane, 39, is one of three former Minneapolis police officers who were convicted earlier this year of depriving Floyd of his right to medical care on May 25, 2020.

Prosecutors had asked U.S. District Judge Paul Magnuson to sentence Lane to between 5 1/4 to 6 1/2 years in prison, while Lane’s attorney has asked for 2 1/4 years, according to The Associated Press.

Under federal guidelines, this sentence would result in two years in prison, assuming good behavior.

When you are a police officer, and you witness another officer violating police policy and committing a hate crime, even a WHITE superior officer, and you do not do your job by intervening and doing anything to help stop the hate crime- YOU CAN END UP BEING CONVICTED AS AN ACCESSORY TO THE HATE CRIME COMMITTED BY THE OTHER OFFICER OR OFFICERS WHO COMMITTED THE HATE CRIME!

Police Officers stand up to crime- not stand around and watch them happen without doing something about it.

When a police officer intentionally and carelessly smothers a prisoner in their custody to death, it is a crime- AND THE POLICE OFFICER CAN BE CHARGED WITH MURDER!

When a police officer of one race handcuffs a prisoner behind his back- intentionally prevents their prisoner of another race TO BE ABLE TO BREATH by putting his full weight on the prisoner's neck while collapsing the prisoner's windpipe- AND THE PRISONER, IN HANDCUFFS BEHIND THEIR BACK, DIES OF SUFFOCATION- THE MURDER CAN BE PROSECUTED AS A HATE CRIME!

Chauvin was following policy. Floyd was saying "i can't breathe" before he was put on the ground for his own protection. Floyd was a giant about to go berzerk as always happens when people can't breathe. That's why waterboarding is such an effective torture. THINK
 
And now blue run cities can't keep enough officers on the force, Seattle is really in bad shape. Good Police will migrate to red run states where laws still mean something
