Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, says border agents are concerned by the alarming number of young girls who are being "brutally" raped and assaulted by human smugglers as they trek across the southern border, and is demanding the Biden administration to take immediate action to stop these "heartbreaking" crimes.

Ernst detailed the "appalling" actions of cartel-backed "coyote" smugglers during an interview with Fox News Digital Tuesday. The senator traveled down to the Texas-Mexico border over the weekend with a delegation led by Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa and other leading lawmakers.

There seems to be some irony here, nobody was worried about young girls being raped when Trump was in office.

How out of touch with reality does someone have to be to claim the real victims of rape are the law enforcement, and not the children being raped.

It would be like a Mexican politician claiming that the "real victim" of the Uvalde Shooting was the Mexican Police who were "taunted" by it happening on the other side of the border, and not the children murdered.

I think the point is how emboldened the cartel members are. We need to show them the FORCE that America can exert if we have strong leadership.

Oh really? Trump got Mexico to put the military on the border and ultimately decreased the numbers of caravans coming to the border. Ferewer girls at the border equals fewer rapes.
