Analyst: Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia showed sheer US hypocrisy

US President Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia showed the sheer hypocrisy of the American foreign policy establishment, according to an American political analyst and activist.

Independent Senator Bernie Sanders has denounced US President Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia, saying the United States should not maintain a “warm relationship” with the kingdom.

Sanders on Sunday said Biden should not have visited the kingdom or met its Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), who was accused by American intelligence of ordering the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The former presidential candidate said that he does not believe “that type of government should be rewarded with a visit by the president of the United States.”

Biden is known for a gaffe or two! He should never have said that. What he should have said is, "If you are Black and you vote for Trump- you may be voting against your own best interests". You know, the same thing I am here today saying about women voting against their own best interests.

It shouldn’t be surprising that more women register as and vote for Democrats. The issues that impact women’s quality of life, such as equal rights, equal pay, reproductive freedom, and education are central themes of the Democratic Party platform. In short, the Democratic Party does more to support women.

The Democratic Party and women share common values and priorities, including supporting our families, protecting our country, and advancing the issues that matter most to women of all ages and ethnicities.

Democrats are working tirelessly to advance progress for women across the country in every respect.

Democrats continue to fight to expand opportunity for women. By confronting violence against women, fighting for workplace equality, pushing for pro-family policies like paid family leave, and defending a woman’s right to control her own body, Democrats will make sure that women thrive in our country, because we know that when women succeed, America succeeds.

Well, I did read the polls, and Democrats have a clear message for Biden: Hit the road, Jack.

A New York Times-Siena College poll out this week shows only 26 percent of Democrats want Biden to be their standard bearer in 2024, while 64 percent say they want someone else. This is in line with the findings of a new Harvard-Harris poll, which found that only 30 percent of Democrats would vote for Biden in a Democratic presidential primary and that 71 percent of Americans don’t think he should run for a second term.

Just wondering how hard you have to work to convince yourself of this. The economy started tanking in March 2020 because of Covid and that's what contributed to higher prices and shortages.
