Liberals not only accept oppressive government that controls every facet of their lives they actually seem to want it so regarding your cult comparison I'd agree. Denigrating government as Reagan did only serves the purposes of the people who want to abuse power...and seize more of it. Which, of course, is what Trump tried to do. Government is going to hold him and his enablers accountable.
