I was under the impression, Biden would just do one term, as care taker of the presidency after those four hellish years of Trump?!!

Well, I did read the polls, and Democrats have a clear message for Biden: Hit the road, Jack.

A New York Times-Siena College poll out this week shows only 26 percent of Democrats want Biden to be their standard bearer in 2024, while 64 percent say they want someone else. This is in line with the findings of a new Harvard-Harris poll, which found that only 30 percent of Democrats would vote for Biden in a Democratic presidential primary and that 71 percent of Americans don’t think he should run for a second term.

Is there another Democrat who can win more primary votes than Biden?
 
On one hand the Presidency is a pretty time consuming job and therefore they don't have time to look at polls. And it's possible his staff is feeding him wrong polling information (saying he's doing better than he is) to keep his spirits up etc.

But yeah, if his polling numbers are at the lowest of his Presidency and he's saying "look at the polls" thinking they show him in a positive light there's a definite disconnect there.

Good question. Probably why the party has started now with this talk because you have to think the preference is for him to step aside (stating the obvious) as opposed to have someone try and primary him.
 
Most people don't want a Biden/Trump campaign in 2024?!! But as of right now, even with his low approval ratings Biden would beat Trump in an election?!! The Jan 6th committee is during an excellent job on Trump and it's taking a toll on Trump's popularity too?!! I would be surprised if the DOJ does not charge Trump and his cohorts now?!!
