Enough to know how government contracting works, considering I got certified to do smaller ones and as a technical rep for them.
Right, handjob!

Actually, the latest articles say he was suspended from his job with pay pending an investigation. Seems he wasn't fired after all...
he was suspended from the contract, which means he gets nothing.
That's not how it works. They can suspend him from working but they still have to pay him. They can only void the contract once there is provable cause and that's damn hard to do sort of some major crime occurring to cause it.
He was an idiot but your hate for the US military is a different matter.
A retired 3 star general who was making $92 an hour as a consultant contractor, was suspended from that position after he Tweeted a snarky, sarcastic response to a Tweet from First Lady Jill Biden criticizing the SCOTUS decision on Roe v Wade.
His comment was "Glad to see you finally know what a woman is".
The comment was a breach of military decorum against getting publicly involved in partisan political disagreements.
Fuck that right-wing asshole.
I hope he gets his pension cut in half.

The man was in line for a sweet contract, if only he could have kept his mouth shut. How typical.
Why do you think he hates the whole military just because he reported on and offered a colorful and negative opinion about this guy who violated the regulations? Don't be like RB, who thinks that any criticism of a particularly flamboyantly horrible Christian in the news means you hate ALL Christians.
So much for free speech, huh? Wow.
Why so quick to fuck with someone's livelihood over free speech? That's quite a fascist thing to do..
It's not a free speech thing; employers are allowed to hold their employees to a standard. A retired 3-star is no different than anyone on JPP when it comes to the workplace.
...Or are you saying he has a "right" to that job?
If he had a contract and was terminated early on that, the Army better have better cause than an offhand comment on social media, because that alone won't cut it.
Yes...yes...let your little inner fascist out for everyone to see, boy.![]()
You're the one advocating an all powerful Federal government, dumbass.
Is that so? Can you point to a post where I have?
AFAIK, I'm advocating for free speech in America.

It's your trend. It's like someone with OCD can't resist straightening something. You have a deep, deep seated hatred of the military and I'm curious why.
Mostly I think it's just a far left kneejerk reaction common among LW extremists and other nutjubs, but IDK for sure.
