Dissent is highest form of racism.

I believe that all black people should go back to Africa. This is my belief, therefore it's not racist. I'm going to make a sign.

I'm also going to make a sign of Obama in a witch doctor outfit to play on this stereotype. OH wait, I'll just buy this guy's since it turned out so nice:

And again you are deliberately obtuse. If you make a sign that says you believe that all black people should go "back" to Africa then you are racist, if you make one that shows that you believe that one man is from Kenya (even if you are incorrect) then you are not.

Your case falls flat because it does not demonstrate what you want it to.

This is not suggesting that you belive that one man is from Kenya. To me this says that because Obama's ancestors were from Africa he would promote witch doctorey as a healthcare plan. AKA all African Americans go to and support witch doctory!

lol

Okay, so saying all black people should go back to Africa is racist. How about telling one black guy to go back to Africa?

That's exactly what the sign said, even though you're trying so hard to make it sound like the sign said, "I believe Obama is from Kenya." The sign told him to go back to fucking Africa.

Show me a person who believed that Clinton was from Africa.

You do not see the connection between the healthcare debate and the fact that they used a witch doctor? You honestly belive that it was only about the belife that Obama was from Kenya?

Why do the words below say, "OBAMACARE". If this was not about the healthcare debate your argument might not be so silly, but come on. The sign even says, "ObamaCare" as if to say this is what you will get if you let this man pass this healthcare bill.

lol

NOw using this sign Dramo, you might have a point.

Again. You read what you want into the sign. I do not attempt to attribute meaning beyond what I see. I don't agree, I don't think he is from Kenya, but I didn't see signs saying that all blacks should go to Kenya, not even one.

If you believe that the one guy is from Kenya, no that wouldn't be racist.

It's silly to say that telling somebody to go "back" to where the person believed him to be from is racist. (Again, I do not personally believe that Obama is from Kenya) What if I tell some dude that I think is from France to go back to France?

false analogy as the this lady most likely believes obama was born in kenya....so she in fact not simply saying.....back to africa....she saying back to where she thinks he is born.....specifically KENYA, not africa.....you do know the difference right

I think the sign encompasses more than one idea. I know that you are limited to only one, but that doesn't mean she was. I think the person believes he is from Kenya, and that he is trying to muck in our health care. I wouldn't have stood next to the person during the protest, but I don't believe that the person thinks that every black person is a "witch doctor"...

too bad, you all are going to have to get over yourselves..as we have noted, there were far more ugly and hateful signs during the Bush years from those lovely anti-war protesters..they will never get rid of hateful type posters, unless you are all for taking away a persons Freedom of Speech... so whining constantly about isn't going to do a bit of good. this President is no more off limits to protest and posters than any other, though some of you think so..

oh brother, go cry me a river..I've seen lots worse were the left made one of Coni Rice as a monkey, George Bush's head cut off with blood dripping from it..etc etc..

you need to get a grip

So naturally that makes the witchdoctor posters acceptable.

A pity the best you can come up with is "well you guys did it first..."

Go back to Africa! I believe you should go back to Africa. And since it's my belief, it's not racist.
If you believed I was from Africa, then it wouldn't be. It would be silly though. There is no controversy about where I was born.
