Did you even read this article? It is nothing but a collection of vague opinions and hearsay. Nothing new there. Being a repost of similar WaPo claims doesn't make it authoritative or worthwhile. If this is the best the MSM and Jan 6 committee can do to back up Hutchinson's testimony, they ain't got nothin'. In fact, in the last two paragraphs of this article, the writer openly makes claims that the previous opinions and hearsay are just that, even if obliquely.

What exactly happened in the SUV is incidental but since it is the one straw that Trumpers see they grasp for it for all their worth. The important parts of her testimony are hearing Trump acknowledge that he knew members of the mob were armed, but not there to hurt him, and wanting to be with them at the Capitol after telling them “to fight like hell.” We’ve heard that this was merely a call for legal action. Really? With fourteen days before the inauguration?

DeSantis is the clear front runner for the Republican nomination, but if he and Trump and Ted Cruz split the Trumpper vote, it looks like someone like Nikki Haley gets it.

Like every other Trumper here who has given us his or her version of Hutchinson's testimony without having watched it, you dismiss her testimony as hearsay and, in your case, gossip. Most all of it in fact was direct testimony. And the hearsay is what the chief of Trump's security who was in the SUV told her at the time transpired in it, and this too has been essentially confirmed. Trump was furious that the agents refused to take him to the Capitol. The only dispute is whether Trump expressed his fury in an attempt to grab the steering wheel. The important point from her direct testimony is: Trump, knowing many of his angry supporters had weapons, urged them to march on the Capitol and "fight" to stop Congress from counting the ballots that would take away his Presidency. Not only was the insurrection he called for a crime, bringing weapons on the Capitol grounds for any or no reason is a crime.
