Liberal international order

This is your thread, how many videos did you post? Should I post a video about Japan being relevant to NATO? That's something you brought up. Your stupid shit has been considered and is dismissed.

I still don't know what your beef is. I created a thread explaining what "Liberal World Order" is because people have been asking about it and you screeched like a stinky yak in heat.

Dude, you referenced post #22 where you said, and were quoted saying, you didn't understand. You tried to play that off as you answering a question. You lose. Fuck off.

World leaders created a series of international organizations and agreements to promote global cooperation on issues including security, trade, health, and monetary policy. The United States has championed this system—known as the liberal world order—for the past seventy-five years. During this time, the world has enjoyed unprecedented peace and prosperity.

Horseshit. Who writes this pseudo-patriotic bubble-gum ?

Correct. I didn't understand the point of your question. What were you expecting me to say?

LIO has been credited with:

expanding free trade
-but not fair trade. or trade blocks where the USA would be disadvantaged by smaller economies

increasing capital mobility
-to the elite rich liberals or China

spreading democracy
- at the barrel of a gun

promoting human rights
-while ignoring Chinese slave labor and political absorption of Hong Kong with attendant atrocities

collectively defending the West from the Soviet Union
-why we already have NATO
~~

It's diplostroking itself, while always looking to make the west/US pay.
Get your Chinese solar panels now. Biden just made it easier for their US market penetration

excellent.

I hadn't heard this term until yesterday.......is this what we used to call the New World Order?.......or is it just what we used to call globalization.......hopefully someone from what we used to call the Democratic Party can explain........

New World Order is the unigovernment type thing- totalitarian world government

this is like "Rules based world order"
https://www.lowyinstitute.org/the-interpreter/rules-based-order-whats-in-a-name
In its communique, leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) reaffirmed their commitment to the RBO and asserted that “China’s stated ambitions and assertive behaviour present systemic challenges to the rules-based international order”. That echoed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s earlier statement that “our purpose is not to contain China, to hold it back, to keep it down. It is to uphold this rules-based order that China is posing a challenge to.”
Where did it come from?

The RBO emerged in the early 1990s under the shadow of the “Liberal international order (LIO)” – a term that is still much more widely used.

BUT

China Wants a ‘Rules-Based International Order,’ Too
https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/03/31/china-wants-a-rules-based-international-order-too/
the distinction between the United States’ supposed commitment to a system of rules and China’s alleged lack thereof is misleading in at least three ways. First, it overlooks the United States’ own willingness to ignore, evade, or rewrite the rules whenever they seem inconvenient. If we are honest with ourselves, we have to acknowledge that Washington sometimes thinks it is perfectly okay for might to make right and for winners to take all. The collapse of the Soviet Union, when the United States took full advantage of a weakened post-Soviet Russia, is a perfect example.

Second, as Harvard University’s Alastair Iain Johnston has shown, China accepts and even defends many principles of the existing order, although of course not all of them. That situation may change in the future, of course, but even a vastly more powerful China would undoubtedly seek to retain whatever features of the present order serve its interests.

Third, statements such as Blinken’s imply that abandoning today’s rules-based order would leave us in a lawless, rule-free world of naked power politics, unregulated by any norms or principles whatsoever. This is simply not the case:

sorry, but I see nothing there that clears up what this "liberal world order" is.....the context the Biden official used the term seems to imply its merely a price fixing scheme......

interestingly as I was typing the above a commentator on TV called it "the globalizing new world order"........guess it encompasses all of the above.....

basically it's take a free ride off using US military power as a guarantor, and get the USA to pay for as much as possible to protect this rules based "liberal" world order.
It's Biden/Blinken globalism with encouragement from Europe

they need to keep it general enough to justify anything lib'ruls want to accomplish......

The Orwellian Leftists have made so many political terms AMBIGUOUS. It makes it difficult for left and right to have a discussion.
