"They Aren't Here to Hurt Me!" and A Crime Plain as Day

Early on the day Trump sent an armed mob to compel Congress to keep him in power, the assistant to his chief of staff heard him say, "They aren’t here to hurt me. Let them march to the Capitol from here.”

Since the marchers would be on a mission for him these words should be a serious problem for Trump even if carrying weapons on the Capitol grounds was not a crime - but it is a crime. If Cassidy Hutchinson, the aide, heard Trump say it others likely heard it and a Secret Service agent she identified in her testimony has reportedly confirmed Trump said it. The agent also reportedly confirmed the substance of her other testimony of what transpired in the security vehicle - that Trump insisted on being driven to the Capitol to be with the mob and became furious when the agents refused to take him, denying only that Trump attempted to grab the steering wheel.

The crime is plain as day. Let the courts take it from here.

I feel like I am arguing with the same retards that claimed Zimmerman and Rittenhouse were screwed

the facts is, liberals are morons when it comes to the law - and these cases keep proving it

This thread echoes what Trump's lawyer said that morning when he heard his loser client planned to march with his armed mob to the Capitol:

"We are going to get charged with every crime imaginable if that happens."

Trump didn't go, he sent them by themselves. How great is the difference?

...they are here to harm Pence, Congressmen, and Capitol police.

the that in "if that happens is Trump and them going to the Capital.

so your point is something besides the top of your head?

You’ve shown you can read. It’s a start. Next is managing to get through more than two sentences in a sitting.

The two cases you cite involved fact based claims of self defense that juries accepted. What defense do your feelings bring to mind against a charge of directing the commission of a statutory crime when the crime is then committed?
