Yes it is. Making a comparison between Hitler and Trump is a perfect example of Godwin's law.
One of the definitions of Godwin's law is making an irrelevant or inappropriate comparison between Hitler / Nazis and something. That occurred here in the first post where a list of generalized statements is used as comparison. I could do a better job of comparing the Nazis / Hitler and the Left based on the Nazi party platform than that list does.
