They still haven't really learned the expectations game. When you spend weeks declaring that the 1/6 hearings are a nothing burger...and then you have a day like today?

I'm no psychologist but I can answer the question. It's called a ride or die attitude. And a good number of partisans have it for both individual politicians and the political party they support. All one needs to do is read this board to see it in action.

That's spot on, and both sides do that.

But I have an "add" to that theory, that the more outrageous and over-the-top a figure is, the more "all in" his or her supporters go. We really haven't seen it like we have w/ Trump. No one will dissuade me from that - his only truthful moment was the 5th avenue comment about his supporters.
