This is part of the baseless internet nonsense that Trump was trying to use to get the Justice Department to investigate 'fraud' in the 2020 election.

Trump felt that if he could simply get an investigation started that it would reinforce his false claim that the election was stolen.

"But worse than violating norms, Meadows’s blatant attempt to interfere with the Department violates the White House’s own policy, as Politico’s Josh Gerstein points out.

A 2017 memorandum to all White House staff authored by then White House Counsel Don McGahn admonishes employees that only he, the President, and the Vice President are to have any contact with the Justice Department.

I am surprised he wasn't part of the Matt Gaetz rush to ask for a pardon.

But of course, Matt Gaetz has other reasons to ask for a pardon. His pardon request was overly broad, and would have given him immunity from crimes of having sex with underage women, or transporting them across state lines.

This just shows how nutty it is to support Trump.

He refused to admit that he lost the election.

He began to look for anything that might support denying his loss.

The J6SC has shown without a doubt that:

1. Biden won the election.
2. Trump was told repeatedly by Republicans in his own campaign, staff, and cabinet that he lost.
3. Trump knew he lost the election.
4. Trump lied when he said he won.
5. Trump refused to concede the loss.
6. Trump tried to overturn the election using any means he could find.
7. The level of absurdity rose to the point of taking nonsense off the internet and attempting to get the DOJ to begin an investigation based on no evidence.
8. The speaker on the bogus internet video making the false Italian vote-changing satellite claim was associated with Rudy Giuliani.
9. Mark Meadows violated the restriction on direct contact with lower level DOJ people when he contacted Jeff Clark. All contact is to go through DOJ leadership to protect DOJ independence from White House influence.
10. When DOJ leadership refused to investigate based on an internet video with no evidence, Trump sought to replace DOJ leadership with someone who would begin a bogus investigation that Trump wanted simply for the publicity.
11. When Trump tried to carry out his plan, he learned that it would not work and the whole world would see what he was doing and why he was doing it. That is the only reason Trump backed down on changing DOJ leadership within weeks of Barr walking out. Basically, hundreds of DOJ leadership positions would be vacated immediately by people walking out over principle if Trump tried to put an unqualified acting AG in just because he supported Trump's cockamamie scheme.
12. Trump realized he wasn't going to get what he wanted so he didn't do it.

It is so nice to see things get accomplished in a bipartisan way when people are united on a purpose of finding the truth.

It is also very enlightening to learn all of these things which we previously did not know.

The J6SC is absolutely delivering on their promise to share new information about the reasons behind January 6th which was not previously public.

They were GEORGIA SATELLITES.....

A pattern has been established where Trump tries to get bogus investigations started, just for the publicity value.

He tried to do it in Ukraine by withholding military aide to Ukraine as they were in a hot war with Russia.

He tried to do it again as a part of trying to get support for his denial of his election loss.
