They don;t even hide their racism anymore

Thank goodness some SCOTUS precedents are overruled.
Senator John Cornyn
@JohnCornyn
Now do Plessy vs Ferguson/Brown vs Board of Education.

I can’t believe I’m going to quote tweet Chris Hayes but here it goes (because Twitter has gone nuts over how many people, whether on purpose or not, have misinterpreted Coryn’s tweet.

I have read his tweet already. He is defending him. Let the Senator explain himself, not some random asskisser.

Do you agree that it's ambiguous and that he is a master communicator?

Cornyn is an idiot.
that was the worse synax I've ever seen - I'll take Chris Hayes interpretation but damn if I see it

Just STFU if you cant speak clearly on this, and quit putting out disinformation by garbled content :speaknoevil:

Oh and stop mixing "super-precendents" with plain old stare decisis.
(Marbury v. Madison and Brown v Board of Education = superprecedents)

There are too many crappy Republican Senators who voted for "infrastructure"
( which was almost all green junk) and cant speak clearly on even this

As I learned today “now do” is a Twitter meme for someone isn’t applying their logic consistently and that’s what he was pointing out to Obama.

For those who don’t speak Twitter he did not state his point as clearly as he could leaving himself open to these type of charges. As I saw someone else say if you use Twitter imagine you are talking to the police when you post and leave nothing to interpretation because people will use it against you.

Too late. The damage has already been done. The only question is was it deliberate?

Interesting. So why attempt to explain what he meant instead of allowing the Senator to explain himself?

In such a hostile partisan environment it’s pretty shocking to see a MSNBC progressive actually stand up for a Republican Senator but in reality isn’t this really on the people who are misinterpreting what he said?

He’s saying it’s somehow bad of Obama to see this as damaging as the precedent to the people it harms

In comparison to the perceived harm to racists when those precedents were ripped from them

It’s still fucking horrible and racist

It’s fucking horrible either way you partisan dolt

He could have used other examples. He should have known the kind of reactions he would have received or did he?

“Oh that Obama being all sad the ladies lost today

He didn’t seem to care about all those poor racists when they lost precedent”

It’s pure racist idiocy
