fifth lie in the last twenty minutes........105 went to the emergency room......one was kept overnight......the police union claimed 140 had some form of injury.......nobody says 200.....no one says "serious".....

Wrong. She refused to seat the Republican choices, reversing nearly 150 years of practice in the House where committee members are chosen by their party. Instead, she selected the two most radical Republicans with respect to impeaching Trump and put them on the committee as the token Republicans. What Pelosi wanted to avoid was having a committee where ANY member of it might be adversarial, question the proceedings, or otherwise make it difficult to produce a show trial with a preordained outcome (eg., Trump being found guilty).

Pelosi was willing to seat Republican members...and the moron, Kevin McCarthy wanted clowns on it to turn it into a circus.

Pelosi then selected two Republicans with some class and integrity...and the committee presentations have been dignified and orderly.

Who cares? There were like a half-dozen already completed investigations into Jan 6. The "new" House one, as is absolutely, transparently, apparent now was simply an exercise in what amounts to impeaching Trump for a third time. It was and is a total waste of time and resources and it's a damn good thing the Republicans wanted no part of it.
