But you said you could see Russia from Mount McKinely, which is physically impossible given the distance and surface curvature.

And you said Palin could see russia across the bering straight, which you cited as a distance of 58 miles. It's physically impossible to see 58 miles out to sea from the coast line.


I don't think you know much about alaska.


Palin might have seen a Russian island in the bering straight, or something. That would be my guess, unless she lied.

right, I don't know ANYTHING about Alaska, I only lived there for almost 20 yrs. just moved from there last year...and the rest of your post is blaa blaa blaa

Show me the text of the bill that authorizes or mandates a nationalization of the health insurance sector, liar.

But it defies the laws of nature to see Russia from Mount McKinely, or to see russia from the coast at a distance of 58 miles (your number), so why did you say that?

I don't think Palin or Meme lied. I just think they are misinformed.

Since they were both home schooled in the creation science field of thought, perhaps they think the earth is flat. And don't realize that you can't possibly see Russia from the alaskan coast at a distance of 58 miles. I don't think they realize the earth's surface is curved.

I'm pretty sure the distance one can see out to sea at the coast is limited to like three miles or something, MeMeMe.

Palin not realizing this and believing the earth is flat, probably saw a ship out on the horizon, and mistook it for land - while she was on putin-patrol.


The only other possiblity, is that Palin is refering to some remote alaska island in the bering straight that no one ever goes to, and might be a couple miles from a remote russian island in the straight.


I'd hate to think she just made shit up.
