USA Today (routinely used by Fakebook to Fact Check) forced to delete 23 stories...

How many articles have they published in 40 years and how many have been found to be fake?
How would we know there aren't a shitton more fake news stories out there you have already admitted they had nothing to prevent it. This may be just the tip of the iceberg.

So you have no idea. So 23 false articles out of what? Millions of articles? And that makes them not credible? I have a bridge to sell you.

Irrelevant appeal to quantity. How many articles did this particular writer get published? Why weren't those articles properly vetted? I posted a video showing the same sort of mindset among Leftist academic journals that are supposedly peer reviewed, and critically considered.

She got her bullshit published because those publishing it wanted to believe what she was writing was true, rather than bothering to fact check her writing.

23 false articles were published. She deceived them. Now they are making sure it won't happen again. So why are you complaining? It's a good thing to self correct.

Let me add this. I've personally slammed academics for their shoddy scholarship. My area of research is military history--even if it isn't really my deep academic background.

One of the most obvious was the author of this book:

John Mosier is an English professor at Loyola University. His book is absolute crap. I had an e-mail exchange with him over it, and his defense in every--EVERY--case to my positions was he had a PhD and I didn't, or that his book was "peer reviewed."

Didn't change he couldn't or wouldn't defend himself against one of my claims. He was an academic hack that knew nothing about what he was talking about.

They would have let her go on indefinitely if someone outside their bubble hadn't pointed out what a liar and hack she is.

You can't prove that. It's impossible. You should be happy that they are fact checking each other. It's weird that you are not.

It's the most likely scenario. After all, they only looked into her lies and fantasy after it was pointed out to them by outside sources...

So it's your speculation. You have nothing but your opinion without any kind of evidence.

So there was a mistake and it is corrected. You should be happy about that. That's what self correcting means. People make mistakes and move on.
