What we are seeing is how Trump lied all the time and no one actually believed him. Like Gardner, they just lie because they have no morality.
When Trump's own former staff, cabinet members, family, and allies said Trump knew he lost, and engaged in attempts to overturn an election he knew Biden won, that is as close to fascism as this nation has ever gotten
