That’s just an asinine suggestion, that’s 45 million people who have green cards. Do you realize what that would do to the economy? And to families?
If they are here illegally, deport them.

It was an error in on my part and I apologize, I forgot to type and VISAS. I left out the word VISA in my haste.Makeup some more TOTAL FUCKING LIES.
13.9 million green
In 2019, an estimated 13.9 million green card holders lived in the United States with lawful permanent resident status, of which 9.1 million were eligible to become citizens.
https://www.boundless.com/immigrati...timated 13.9,were eligible to become citizens.
Again, if they are not American citizens, get rid of them.
Why? They may be good people contributing to society and the economy. They are not lesser individuals because they are not citizens.
Besides, you would have to change the law for future residents and not retroactively.
Wrong. They are ALREADY VIOLATING EXISTING LAWS.

What laws are they violating? They would not be legal residents if they were violating the law.
"Lawful permanent residents (LPRs) are foreign nationals who have been granted the right to reside permanently in the United States. LPRs are often referred to simply as "immigrants," but they are also known as "permanent resident aliens" and "green card holders."
So? They are here illegally. they are absolutely lesser people, our constitution should not cover illegals. They should have no rights guaranteed under it. Throw them out!
Good. The allowance of anyone who doesn't pass the citizenship test should go back to where they came from.. Period!
No, they are not here illegally. That is why there are called permanent legal residents. They followed the law.
You want the government to have the power to restrict the free speech, press, religion, search and seizure, etc. of those who are not citizens? You have destroyed the Constitution and turned it into an oppressive government.
Illegals do not automatically receive "permanent legal resident" status.
They are not illegals. They came here legally following the law. They did not get that status "automatically." They followed legal procedures.

Not the million+ since 2021....etc. They did not follow "legal procedures' because there were none, until a FED JUDGE FORCED PRES.MORON TO FOLLOW THE LAW.
THE LATINO AND LATINA LEGAL US CITIZENS WILL BE LEANING RIGHT IN NOVEMBER...AND BEYOND.
Bullshit.
And more bullshit.
I believe it's you liberals who wish to restrict our constitutional rights.
Procedures for entering the country legally have not changed.
A majority of Hispanics still vote Democratic and Flores will not be re-elected in November. Her district will go from +4% Biden to +16% Biden.
Republicans gaining the House (and maybe Senate) will give us divided government which is the best situation. Congress will keep the administration from doing anything stupid and a Democratic administration will prevent Congress from doing anything stupid.
BS. I want to expand our constitutional rights. The Supreme Court just expanded freedom of religion.
And any idiot knows anybody in this country (tourists, legal residents) have the same constitutional rights because the Constitution prohibits government from infringing on those rights.
They are not American citizens. The constitution should only apply to American citizens. They have no rights, or so they should not.

Do you think we do?Admittedly I haven't followed the whole conversation so my apologies if I am missing something here. We obviously gets lots of tourists from all over the world that visit America. Are you saying they shouldn't have constitutional rights while they are here? For example, if a cop pulls over someone visiting from another country they don't have to read them their Miranda rights, they can just kind of do whatever they want to?
I think of it in reverse, as Americans if we travel to other countries that we should have no rights? That's a rather frightening thought to me.
