Just at the right time – primary season.

As far as most real people are concerned the Drooler and the Party of Drag Queens are dead mice on the kitchen floor of American politics. But the hostility goes way beyond even that.

School choice has become the litmus test in Republican primaries. Formerly secure Republicans are being cast out because of failure to be fangs-out school choice proponents. This is becoming a nationwide issue.

We may be seeing a political re-alignment like we haven't seen since1933. School choice – taken to is logical conclusion – is a rejection of the old “Prussian system" of compulsory attendance in government-run schools. Next stop after rejection is defundng and disbandment of government-run schools. Government paid unionized teachers and administrators are RAPIDLY become the enemy. Nobody wants o pay taxes to pay socialists who are in essence abusing their children. In the next few years, hundreds of thousand of teachers may find themselves on the bricks and widely ostracized.

I'm sure there are lots of good teachers, but parents cannot discern the good ones from the bad ones and are making the Murphy's Law conclusion: All teachers bad.

This is actually a huge umbrella of grievances. Transgenderism is the standard, but CRT, tolerance of poor performance, lack of school security and the educational systems disdain for average American norms as well. Rather than squander political will of a legion of small battles on narrow issues people have come to the conclusion the whole system is evil and look to fight one big battle against it. Throw out all the babies with all the polluted bathwater and start the whole system - kindergarten through grad school - out all over again.

Quite often building a new building starts with razing an old one on the site. So it is with American education.

When the Democrats called the parents who only wanted input into their children's education, terrorists and had the FBI investigate them, they messed in their mess gear.

Virginia flipped from blue to bright red.

The truth is that the U.S. ranks near the bottom in a survey of students' math skills in 30 industrialized countries.

I think Poff's opinion is all wet. The "litmus test" in Republican primaries is whether the candidate agrees with Trump's claim about election fraud.

There is no evidence school choice is a major issue in the election. Congress has little to do with state school systems.

Governor Abbot in Texas is pushing the issue but is not making much headway because they have found in rural areas the schools are often the center of community activities and are viewed favorably. Taking away funds from a small public school only hurts the community and splits funding between two poorly financed institutions. It is a scam that offers government welfare for companies that operate on public funds and provide poor education under the guise of "individualized instruction" that puts the kid in front of a computer all day answering easy questions and giving him good grades.

I am very critical of public, charter, and private schools because few of them are required to have any standards. Parents are happy if students bring home good grades and think they are smart because they never study. But, school choice is not the solution. Students need to pass subject matter tests for courses they take.

The only ones who really care about the last election are democrats who want to distract from the fact that Biden has flushed America down the toilet. Record high gas prices, inflation, shortages, the border and an impending recession are the issues voters care about.

Tell that to the Republican primary candidates being defeated by Trump backed opponents because they don't accept the Big Lie. They have to accept a lie to win a Republican primary.

Trumps policies worked and Republican candidates that embrace them get elected.

The only policy they had to embrace was the lie about election fraud. 15% unemployment, 20 million jobs lost, and -3.5 GDP growth is not really working very well. Obviously, if the voters thought the policies worked well they would have reelected him.

Indeed.

Horse mierda.

The 2020 presidential election was stolen and the two senate seats in Georgia.

In an almost completely republican state of GA, how do Democrats steal these Senate seats?

With boxes of illegal mail in votes all for Biden.

By telling the Republican poll watchers that the vote count is ending at midnight, sending them home and then containing to "count" votes.

And all this time, I though Trump was responsible for basically telling republicans not to vote.
