So, you're saying Palin lied?
Because I live on the ocean, and it's physically impossible to see 58 miles out because of the curvature of the earth (although, I do concede that Palin is probably an evolution-denying flat earther).
Was there some Russian Island that was perhaps closer, that she could see, which made her an international affairs expert?
Huh??? do you know Alaska has the highest mountain in the United States?
no you all are absurd..again I give you..
The Bering Straight separates Russia and Alaska. Width at the narrowest point is 58 miles (85 km). Check out this link for a quick view:
http://worldatlas.com/aatlas/infopage/bering.htm
What does the distance from Russia or the ability to see Russia have to do with having Foreign Affairs experience? That's the point and the answer is, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
wth...you are all over the place..first you harp on the Russia deal, and I prove you wrong, then you jump on this..
Sarah Palin was a mayor and a GOVONOR..she was a CIC of the military of Alaska, so she had to know about Foreign policy..
again, can you show me the Foreign Ploicy experience of Obama, I'll wait.
Huh, what..... do you know Alaska has the highest mountain in the United States?
she is absolutely right, there are some parts of Alaska where you can see Russia..now eat some crow you all..
I really can't waste time explaining the laws of physics to you, and the nature of the earth's curvature. I really do think you and Sarah Palin must be flat-earther creation scientists.
You can't see 58 miles out to ocean from the coast, and I seriously doubt you can see Russia from Denali/McKinley.
Did Sarah Palin see some small Russian Island in the Bering Sea? Maybe, that seems possible. But, you presented the "58 mile" link, and patted yourself on the back for it.
Was seeing an tiny Island what gave her foreign policy gravitas?
oh for gawds sake, go throw your self impressed intellectual mumble jumble on someone else..and while your at it, eat some damn crow..cause you all were proved wrong...
Don't fret meme.
You'll surely have the last laugh when Sarah sweeps to power and subsequently destroys the world by accident while looking for a light-switch.

you know what Charver, if I were you, I'd be more worried about your country and the hell hole it is turning into...
That is a scary possibility considering the stupidity of Americans.
How do you know, meme?
Have you seen our coastline with some powerful binoculars?
Enslavement? Offering people the opportunity to get medical care, even if they don't have a lot of money, is enslavement?
As for the outrageous spending it's not the amount being spent but what it's spend on. Remember Cheney saying they had the money to go to war so they chose that option. That money should have been used for something other than war and that's what Obama is trying to change.
As I've said all along the money is there for Obama's programs and ideas. The problem is it's being spent on other things. Just the wars could have paid for all those folks who defaulted on their mortgage. How has the average citizen benefited from the wars?
In the past government programs have benefited the few. Tax cuts for the wealthy. Profits for the war machine. All Obama is trying to do is spread the money around as if that's something terrible. Why should only a select few benefit?
Once people start to see something for their tax dollars there will be an attitude change. That's why not one country has dropped their universal medical plan.
This is not enslavement anymore than being able to turn on the kitchen tap and getting potable water is enslavement. Or having a decent road to drive on is enslavement. Or a park where to take ones children.
I hope the old time Democrats wake up and vote for Obama's policies. It is time to be "radical". It's time for CHANGE.
Have you checked out her facebook page? It made me throw up in my mouth a little.

First, you never proved me wrong. I did not quote Ms Palin. I simply rephrased what she said and the meaning remains the same so let's not get into semantics.
As for her experience Mayors and Governors are voted in. Who determines if one is a capable CIC? The answer is "No one" or, "Everyone", depending on how one looks at it.
What did she or does she know about the military? Obviously, not a hell of a lot if she considers being able to see Russia as being relevant to Foreign Policy Experience.
Obama did not have Foreign Policy experience, however, and this is a big however, he would not make such an asinine comment. That's the difference.
