Freeport LNG terminal down min 3 weeks

Less LNG exports would mean cheaper natural gas for us.

Less LNG is less LNG available, idiot. Winter is coming.

I don't need it, but some people do. Our garbage trucks and buses run on it here. :palm:

That means taxes will get jacked to cover the increased cost of running those fleets.

It's almost like they knew this was coming when they switched the fleets to that fuel instead of diesel.

Not good. Terrorism? Somebody sneaking a smoke?

THat we have to deal with smart terrorists who know where to hit to really hurt us is of course the nightmare.

At first look this looks like bad management, but I need more information to know for sure.

It already has, but it is catastrophic for Europe.

Europes main problem is too fewer receiving LNG terminals. UK actually had plummeting prices, because they had the only access capacity to receive LNG.

Basically put, this helps American consumers, does not hurt Europeans, because they simply do not have the capacity to handle anymore, but it does hurt American producers (who are doing so wildly well, they will not notice it).

Less exports means more natural gas needed to be sold domestically. That means more for the USA, and a discount for American consumers.

Natural gas is cheaper than diesel, so your conspiracy theory does not work.

It is still closed.

More of the Cant Do America.

Last time I checked(a week ago), suburban Seattle still has natural gas, and is not in any way rationing. We have not run out of diesel fuel around here, nor are even close. The Freeport fire has not led to any shortages.

Freeport is in the process of opening. It is taking in gas, but not exporting LNG yet. It was badly damaged, and is being rebuilt at record speeds.

Basically, all Hawkeye's predictions have failed.
