Fox News caves… Will carry 1/6 hearings!

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

I almost want to turn Fox on to see how they play this. Will it be like a football game, where there's a few minutes of action. Then they pause the show to give the talking heads time to describe what the viewers just saw, and put their own spin on it? Or will they just let it play out w/o commentary until the end? I can't see them doing the latter.

They would need the magic wand of damage-control.

And I don't know if that exists.

Hello Sawyerloggingon,

They didn't cover the opening act of the democrats made for tv mini series on FOX news. They never claimed they wouldn't cover the rest of the show when it was relegated to normal business hours. Another failed OP by the desperate left.

That's pretty flimsy reasoning.

Oh.. well... I don't want to put words in anyone's mouths but it would be nice if someone reminded the troll that the market has always fluctuated but has always trended upward. It might be up 2000 pts tomorrow. Also, even though fuel prices are high, AAA and airlines report summer travel is actually up over last year.

Bottom line. It's idiotic to look at a few days' activity of a downward stock market trend and assume it's going to continue.

Since the early 1900's the market has gone nowhere but up!

I mean.. If "someone" wanted to tell Earl that.

Yes. The only modern period when we had extended stock losses was the Bush era, when stocks were down, net, across the better part of a decade. But generally, market declines quickly prove to be buying opportunities. Like I treated early April 2020 as a bargain-hunter's paradise, after the stock panic caused by COVID. I threw a bunch of money into Amazon, figuring that home-bound people would be buying stuff there. It proved to be a good money-making in short order.

I sold a bunch of Amazon back in October or November 2020 and have sat on the sidelines since that, but I'm thinking of diving back in there. They're at $102.69 right now, and it's hard picturing it going much lower. I'd expect it to be about $120 a year from now, which would be a solid return. But, I don't have a crystal ball.... just a gut feeling on that one.

And that right there in the bolded bit is WHY gas prices are up. It's supply and demand. More demand, less supply = higher prices.

Earl is a moron who is incapable of absorbing actual factual information. His filter blocks out everything else. Watch what he does. He makes a false claim. It is debunked. He repeats the same false claim word for word, over and over. He truly seems to believe that trolling like this will change people's minds and see him as some truth-teller. Not bloody likely. He just looks like an imbecile incapable of using his own words to defend his claims.

Alright.. find me the next Amazon or Starbucks, and I'll say very nice things about you, I promise :)

I can't be looking any of Earl's individual posts. I put him on iggy like my second day. But I could see the thread subject and when anyone responds to him I can see his posts.

Smart man. He offers nothing but the usual RWNJ "alternate facts" and support of the Big Lie and the even Bigger Liar.

There's six more, dumbass. Why don't you hide under your bed until the end and then I'll be happy to fill you in then. Umkay?

nope.....if there are six hearings I expect you to either cite the evidence or concede its non-existence for each one........I doubt you will have anything to report, just like last week.....

That's my assumption -- that they'll have only as much raw footage as they think they need to maintain an illusion that they're covering the hearings, while in fact they spend most of their time cutting away to spinmeisters focused on telling the dummies how to feel about things.

or like baseball coverage where they only show the hits and RBIs......here, of course, there will be nothing to show......

You can wish in one hand and shit in the other, minion of Satan. You're an evil person and the sooner you face judgement, the better.
