Currently the U.S. is the top oil producer in the world.

Apparently, you think and speak from uranus as a twisted jerk of lies and other types of bullshit.

Its true tho.

Brandon would rather crawl on his belly to OPEC and IRan and venezuela than use american oil for americans.

This means he sucks as a president and basically also as a human being.

:truestory:

oil reserves aren't production.

We are producing in the neighborhood of 18 million barrels a day, where Saudi Arabia and Russia are producing in the neighborhood of 10 million barrels a day. We are producing nearly twice as much as any other country.

The best estimates, drilling in ANWR would...

Drilling in ANWR would be impossible. There is no one willing to even bid on the licenses, much less pour the hundreds of billions into drilling. It just is not going to happen after trump allowed oil to go negative.

we should build more refineries.

You want to force industry to take money from oil production to build more refineries... To what end? If the private sector believed more, smaller refineries were a good idea, that is what they would be investing in. They do not.

the ability to refine more of our own oil.

it's actually smart, dum dum.

the ability to refine more of our own oil.

We refine more oil than we produce, so we refine more than our own oil. We also refine more gasoline than we use, we actually export refined products.

And if we need more capacity, for a lot less money we could easily double capacity at our current refineries. The reason the private sector does not want a bunch of new refineries is that capacity at an existing refinery is a lot easier to increase. It is all about efficiencies from scales of production. You decrease efficiency by spreading out production, and gasoline will cost more money.

and strangling supply keeps prices high.

when did you become a "corporations are perfect" brainwashed libertarian neocon shitdipper?

There is enough refinery capacity, and if there was not, the cheapest, fastest, most efficient way to increase capacity is to increase capacity within the current refineries. If we spend a lot of money on building useless new refineries, that will drive up the price of gasoline.

when did you become a "corporations are perfect" brainwashed libertarian neocon shitdipper?

When you have to resort to name calling, and making up positions for me, I know you have lost the debate.

lol.

bunch of bullshit.

there's enough ... but if there isn't?

you sound retarded.

:tardthoughts:

we need to destroy the big oil cartel.

all freedom lovers know that cartels and monopolies destroy the benefits of free markets for all.

biden has punished domestic oil production in every possible way.

he would rather crawl on his belly to opec than use american oil for americans.
Oh, man, you have the wrong administration, that was the Trump/Kushner administration. Saudis went to Jared and they rewarded him with $2 billion dollars.

i distinctly remember drill baby drill.

unlike biden who declared war on fossil fuels to great applause from idiotic dems.
