Pelosi was exempt from the investigation even though she was in charge of the Capitol police who were woefully outnumbered and who rejected Trumps offer of the National Guard. Republicans killed an independent 911-style Commission. They don't have a leg to stand on in criticizing the bipartisan Select Committee. It actually includes two Republicans.
The problem with Trump Republicans is they refuse to accept the outcome of the 'most secure election in our history.' That immediately disqualifies them from sitting on the Committee. There was no justification for trying to stop the certification of Joe Biden's election win. None. Zero. Nada. The time period for challenging the results expired without anyone presenting any convincing evidence that the election was anything other than the most secure election in history.
I should also add that many Republicans carried on and on about how they felt Democrats had not accepted Trump's election win in 2016. (even though nearly all Democrats did accept the outcome.) And now, for many of those same Republicans to do exactly what they accused Democrats of is hypocritical.

Well, they are covering it, just not on the channel you want them to... and I will bet you money that they will certainly talk about it providing coverage, just not 24/7 and live coverage on the main channel, that is relegated to other channels of their network allowing folks to watch when and if they want.
