Steve Scalise isn't often accused of being a genius. Didn't know he is quite this dumb. Anyway, notwithstanding the inapt comparison, after 9/11 many restrictions were placed on air travel, as the article points out.
Might also be noted that planes are not made for the purpose of killing people and other creatures. Things that are made for that purpose would also be restricted in a sane country, and The Second Amendment
doesn't prevent this, as The Supreme Court has definitively ruled.

Zit just proves there are many ways to kill and if ARs aren't available people will us things that are available like planes or car into Christmas parades.

So if a new age restriction prevents a disturbed 18 year old from buying an AR 15 we can reasonably count on him flying an airplane or crashing the family car into a school building.

The guy is fairly approaching Louie Gohmert status, the other day he repeated the idiotic claim guns were God given, like God sat around and thought that these men I created need guns so I’ll create them for them
