Why are people talking this way? Are we just going to ignore the economic history of the GOP? Bush the elder - left the office w/ a Recession. Dubya - left office with a total crash. Trump - left w/ the economy in shambles.
Clinton? Brought the economy back, w/ the greatest prosperity we have had as a nation. Obama? Led the longest recovery in modern times.
Biden hasn't even had a full 2 years. He's cleaning up Trump's mess, but it's taking time. Inflation is global, and was inevitable after COVID.
