Or, possibly not.

Why are people talking this way? Are we just going to ignore the economic history of the GOP? Bush the elder - left the office w/ a Recession. Dubya - left office with a total crash. Trump - left w/ the economy in shambles.

Clinton? Brought the economy back, w/ the greatest prosperity we have had as a nation. Obama? Led the longest recovery in modern times.

Biden hasn't even had a full 2 years. He's cleaning up Trump's mess, but it's taking time. Inflation is global, and was inevitable after COVID.

Tired of this fake narrative that Republicans are economic wizards who will get things humming again. They literally never have, unless you want to go all the way back to Reagan's 1st term.

Brandon is cleaning up Trump's mess? Do you mean energy independence, gas below $2/gallon, relative peace in the world, a major push to buy and manufacture American products, no food shortages, record low inflation, tariffs on countries that harm US interests, the list goes on? What the fuck are you drinking?
You couldn't even get any alt-leftie buddies to support your bullshit OP.

Gas prices? You think BIDEN is responsible for those? And inflation?

These are global issues, brought on by COVID and the Ukraine. Biden inherited a total mess, and has brutal circumstances to deal with. I hardly think he's a great President - but he's competent, and understands policy, which is a huge upgrade over the Trump disaster.

LOL, you little white supremacy shits attack this country on 1/6 because you're too racist and evil to accept a loss. Now you're pissed we're talking about it.

Guilty conscience.

Also, zero for three, bitch.

If Trump had these growth & employment #'s, and he was in office, we'd be hearing every day about how this was the greatest economy in the history of the world.

It must be a coincidence that everything turned south the day Brando took office. I am happy you think everything is better under Brandon but as you have shoved up your ass on a daily basis, the polls show Brandon to be a total fuckup. When I encourage you to stick to your beliefs, America needs morons.

You have no grounds for shouting racism at anyone. You are a joke here and I suspect you will not last long.

You think when the world's largest producer of oil reduces the World's oil supply it isn't going to raise the price of oil and cause inflation. This isn't COVID its Biden's dumb energy policy and his desire to replace fossil fuels. I don't think most people object to eventually going to EV but we need to do it over 50 years not 4 years. The US is the World's largest economy the price of oil is traded in dollars when we print too much money as we did it devalues everyone's dollars and inflates everything including the price of oil.

When Trump left office, the economy was in a shambles. It was a mess. Give me a break.

It's not like we were peaking & things just tanked on inauguration day.

At least you make a reasonable argument here. Biden may have exacerbated some of the increases - but increases were happening regardless.

I'd agree that it should be a more gradual transition.

Your ignorance of the actual facts is impressive.

Poll shows Americans blame Biden for inflation and gas prices

The latest polling of the American public shows that their opinion of President Joe Biden, at least when it comes to economic matters, continues to crater.

The poll, conducted by ABC News/Ipsos, shows just a 37% approval rating for Biden’s handling of America’s economic recovery from the COVID pandemic.

That’s not a great sign for the White House, considering that 83% of respondents now say the economy will be either extremely or very important in determining their votes in the upcoming mid-term elections.

Major distinct concerns that registered as extremely or very important include inflation (80%) and gas prices (74%).

And how does the President stack up on those issues? Not well, with only 37% approval on his handling of inflation and even less – 27% - on his handling of gas prices.

Of course we weren't peaking. The country was on lockdown. You will really struggle to convince anyone to proclaim they are better off now than two years ago. Look at the polls.

the only thing wrong between the best economy in forty years and the economy when Trump left office was the covid crisis........everyone knows Trump didn't cause that.....the only break you deserve is your skull.......
