Typical you find "liberty and justice for all" a Superman cartoon. It's the bedrock of liberal democracy, a theme on which the nation was founded. You seem equally clueless about politicians. Not all certainly, but some, Trump and DeSantis among them, show every sign of thriving personally on the power of high political office. Obviously, this is tied to policies and agendas, the vehicles together with governmental office for power.

Democrats want liberty and justice for SOME, namely The Elite.
The United States was never a democracy. It was organized as a federated republic. A democracy has no constitution and no representatives. It is an unstable for of government, usually dissolving into an oligarchy or dictatorship pretty quickly (Athens became a dictatorship).

Democrats don't want a democracy. They want the oligarchy they have implemented. They want a dictatorship.
