I enjoy the hypocrisy in DeathSantis condemning a corporation for exercising free speech and claiming that they shouldn't be engaging in political stuff, while simultaneously threatening another for mandating safety measures for its athletes and staff... IOW he was politicizing the Special Olympics. At least the sickos who support this fascist shit are happy, and that's all that matters, right?

First, Disney and Florida agreed to deal. The fact DeSantis is reneging on that deal because he is politically targeting Disney does reek of authoritarianism. No better than the fascists.
Second, the fact ExLa can't see the difference is telling. Is he lying? Mentally off balance? He claimed to be a doctor so he can't be stupid...at least not 40 years ago. Maybe he is today. To many drugs? Alcohol? Disease? Didn't wear his seatbelt or helmet because he believes those things don't work?

You would think that a supposed ex-special ed teacher would realize that many of the Special Olympic competitors are at a higher risk of morbidity and mortality from COVID than typical athletes. Downs Syndrome, for instance, is often accompanied by heart defects. How many of them are dependent upon older parents/grandparents who are also at a higher risk?
BTW Florida currently has twice the infection rate of the next highest state, per Worldometer.info.
