There are 120 guns for every 100 Americans

Well that's what Hillary said. :dunno:

Question: what is wrong with the buy back program? If people don't want to sell them, no problem.

For the record, I do not agree with the AR-15 ban. But we need to raise the age and screen them. Even VP Harris said that.

The mandatory part.

One problem with raising prices and requirements is that, yes, it reduces the number of owners but does so disproportionately in favor of the rich....which people who remember the Tulsa Race Massacre might be reluctant to accept. Again, we're talking individual weapons here. The common idea would be the firearms of citizen be equal with a common soldier or officer, meaning a rifle or pistol. It takes more experience and training to carry the automatic weapon or grenade launcher. I mention firearms because hand grenades aren't firearms.

I haven't heard the suggestion that the buy back program is mandatory.

I agree with that. Everyone should have equal access to firearms.

The Australian buyback was mandatory. She could have just said a buy-back program which is common in Big Blue Cities (BBCs) but she went out of her way to telegraph "Australian" to the faithful. Beto just up and said they'd take the guns.

On a side note, please consider that Australia has less people than Texas and then tell me if you see a problem there. LOL

“The Australian government, as part of trying to clamp down on the availability of automatic weapons, offered a good price for buying hundreds of thousands of guns, and then they basically clamped down going forward in terms of having, you know, more of a background-check approach, more of a permitting approach,” Clinton said.

The Australian government purchased more than 650,000 guns from citizens in the compulsory 1996 buyback program.

Black American grannies need firearms to protect themselves and their families.

You leftist fuckwads will not take guns from Americans. Americans will put you in the ground first, and you'd be wise to believe that.

Whether you do or not, you're going to fucking die.

So she didn't suggest that it should be mandatory here in the USA?

He was talking about AR-15s.

The Hill?
Yes, by virtue of specifically mentioning Australia.

AKs too. Confiscation is confiscation. Beto didn't even mention a buy back.

LEAST BIASED

These sources have minimal bias and use very few loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by appeals to emotion or stereotypes). The reporting is factual and usually sourced. These are the most credible media sources. See all Least Biased Sources.

Overall, we rate The Hill Least Biased based on balanced editorial positions and news reporting that is low-biased. We also rate them Mostly Factual in reporting, rather than High, due to previous opinion columns promoting unproven claims.

Mentioning Australia does not mean mandatory.

Mentioning Australia does not mean mandatory.
It means like Australia as opposed to like Los Angeles or New York. Those programs are weak and relatively ineffective. Mandatory produces better results.

Hillary, like the Republicans, is a Federalist. The only difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is which rights they are seeking to take away.
