King Trudeau has announced that handguns can no longer be purchased, sold, transferred, or imported and that any handgun can be seized at government whim.

Trudeau has decided to try to join the ranks of Venezuela, the USSR, China, and Cuba.


Now watch the gangs in the streets shooting each other and taking God knows how many innocents with them in claiming their share of the Black Market.

Can the citizens of Canada regain control without war and bloodshed now? I doubt it.

I believe it is more than just handguns, a temporary ban, and it is expected to be approved legislatively

There is a reason Canada’s gun violence and gun homicide rates are way below those of the United States, called sensible gun control

For all the focus, in the US, on assault weapons, thanks to the sheer drama of a handful of mass killing by gun fetishists toting AR-15s, the truth is the large majority of deaths involving firearms are by handguns. Handguns are more likely to be carried around, which makes them more likely to be readily at hand to turn a non-deadly circumstance into a deadly one. And, of course, they're far more convenient for a lot of crimes, so they're more likely to turn crimes deadly, as well. So, while gun controllers tend to focus on assault weapons as the "low hanging fruit," the impact of such a law is likely to be small -- barely statistically noticeable at the level of overall mortality stats. Handguns, on the other hand, can have a real impact. Gun control methods that make it harder to get your hands on handguns will save a lot of lives.

They have not passed it yet. Still, that is a typical liberal knee jerk response to something that does not truly address the problem. Guarantee Trudeau will still have armed protection though....
