There are 120 guns for every 100 Americans

I keep hearing "The government cant remove anywhere near all the guns, there are too many of them".

Yes, but they can remove a lot of them, and they can ruin the lives of anyone who is even one time caught with having one without permission.

Only by starting a civil war. That's going to ruin a lot of lives.

I support the 2nd amendment, and the right to own a gun.

But there is something wrong w/ America. Gun ownership has a near-religious devotion among some segments of the population. We hear "God, guns & gays" from voters in some regions, and for many, it is the top voting issue. Every small regulation or background check is a "slippery slope." The NRA refuses to postpone or move a large event that is taking place within days of a devastating shooting in a nearby location.

Like Trump support, it's a bit of a cult, and always a battle for those who are believers. The government is just an entity that wants to "grab their guns."

We're unique in the world in this respect. The 2nd country on the list has half the guns per capita that America does.

We're a gun nation.

stfu.

you do not support the second amendment.

stop lying.

Bullshit. Ramos was not a criminal released by Biden (he didn't release anyone) and Ramos was not a member of any gang, he was a US citizen. the ignorant right wing shithead strikes out again.

what about the other shootings around the country last week?.......we had several in Grand Rapids last week......I expect there were others......

and there we find the motive.......odd it has nothing to do with stopping crime, isn't it........

is that an "0" on his shirt or a "D"?........

A few of mine were inherited. Now I'm in a situation of having too many to clean. I was going to try and sell them but since the Democrats have made that so difficult I'm thinking of just giving them away.

Some of mine were inherited, one was the only non-pellet gun gun my dad ever bought for me when I was growing up. Most were acquired through trades and purchases. Some through gun shops, FFL dealers and even a few in the field trades while hunting. My son will have to deal with getting rid of them as I have no plans to. He’ll never use them though. So democrats can take heart in that my situation will be a generational ending to firearm enthusiasm. He’s a good kid but has little interest in hunting or fishing … and certainly no interest in competitive pistol shooting like I enjoy.

A .22 or even a powerful pellet gun with a scope is good for pest control.

A 22 was all I ever hunted squirrels with … and is what I still use most of the time. Used a 410 for rabbits. Didn’t start deer hunting until I was in 8th grade. Bought my self a Marlin 30/30 to use for that. But I still predominately use a 22 in most of my shooting…dispatching pests, hunting squirrels, etc.

I started hunting squirrels with a .22 single-shot rifle but, when old enough to handle it, a 20 ga pump shotgun and then a 12 ga by the time I was mid-teens.

I grew up hunting squirrels with dogs most of the time. That offers still shot 90+ percent of the time so I used my single shot 22 for a long time. After I had been teaching a few years I bought a Ruger Mark II semi auto pistol (as kids at home dad wouldn’t let us have pistols) to use for squirrel hunting and used that until I was in my early 50’s. Those are really good, accurate guns. I can still shoot squirrels with it but my eyes aren’t as good plus I do more of my hunting by myself these days. I use a Savage 22/410 now. Incidentally, I carried that Ruger pistol this morning while I was tethering hay. It’s a great varmint gun to have while I’m on the tractor.

I've had the same Ruger Mark II for about 40 years. Great little shooter!
