I wish they had rushed the stage…
Me too, as a fantasy but I'm glad they didn't in real life. They showed 1 million times more class and maturity and just GOOD than that fucking evil prick, Abbott!

If they had shown their anger, without harming anyone, maybe something would get accomplished.
There were a lot of young people there, they are more exhausted from these shootings than I was from nuclear duck and cover drills. They had a voter registration drive outside of that NRA convention too, the only way for change is to vote in mass in November!

If I were one of them, I’d resign and move. I’d be afraid to live in that small of town and be a coward. They showed plenty of anger when the cops were restraining an tasing them outside the school while they were trying to get to their kids. I don't like violence - but - some of those people could probably find someone to do some damage to those who let their kids die in that box like dogs.
Someone's going to pay, either by suicide or via revenge from an insanely heartbroken parent. I don't like it, but in this case, I feel it inevitable.

Gerrymandering. Operation Redmap, spearheaded by Tom Delay. That's how Republicans in TX are able to rule over the majority.

I hope he develops brain cancer.
I hope he lives to see Beto beat his sanctimonious ass.

The Robb deaths are Abbott deaths.
It is time to vote Republicans out.
Continue voting Republicans out until something can be done about gun violence.
Enough is enough.
The Republicans are a conservative party in name only. They're now just Theocratic Federalists. Agreed on voting them out. I always vote Libertarian.
"Gun violence" is a subcategory of violence; a human psychological phenomena. The vast majority "gun violence" are suicides. A musket pistol would do the trick along with a neck tie or OD of street drugs.
50th in the nation....in favor of a Photo Op in Uvalde. I think he'll put in a video appearance at the NRA asking everyone to "pray for the children" before going back to shooting down better mental health care plans.
Try selling your last paragraph to the surviving family members of all the mass shooting victims in the last 30 years, let alone the victims stray bullets from POS gang bangers going at each other. Good luck with that.
And for the record, I consider libertarians a joke....aptly categorize by author/radio host commentator Thom Hartmann as "conservatives who want to smoke dope and get laid".

Why? It'd be like selling the same to the families of all the military personnel killed in Iraq after Congress voted for a 9 year quagmire.
Because it's a moot point dodge used by the gun lobby flunkies to justify non-regulation of weapons sales to the general public....it does NOT alter the FACTS regarding the use of said weapons, the fight against regulations by the gun lobby flunkies, and the willful/general ignorance and paranoia of the gun owners/enthusiasts on the subject.
Can't you just once flat out admit you were wrong on one point instead of trying to change or cloud the issue at hand? That Iraq reference was a real Hail Mary!

Stalemate. Impasse. Deadlock. Status quo.
The guy you see in the mirror is the ONLY person who buys that, Dutch. This is one of the issue where you live up to your screen name description. Unless you can do something other than regurgitate the SOS, I'll move on and let you have the last word.

Have fun trying to ban guns since it will not only not happen, but, sadly, delay fixing the problem. You're a puppet for the rich, dude...and I doubt you know it.
Reality check, son ... you had the 1994 AWB for a decade....when that was allowed to sunset (thank you Teabagger/necocon Republicans in Congress), the very weapons on that list became popular among mass shootings for the las 28 years.
During the time the AWB was in effect, there was a plethora of handguns, rifles, shotguns, revolvers, semi-autos available to the law abiding citizen via the local state & federal laws. So spare us all the NRA flunky flop sweat ... because neither the gun manufacturers, retailers or their mules in congress give a damn about you except how much they can sell you. Carry on.
Status quo. Stalemate. Impasse. Standoff. Deadlock.
