The current GOP formula for public education...

Yell, scream, and threaten school personnel over masks because it will harm their children.
+
Yell, scream, and threaten(& ban books), over stories about 2 dads, or US History of racism being taught because it will harm children.
=
We should arm school personnel to protect our children in case of a evil person with an assault weapon entering the school.

Who can actually vote for this while claiming to be pro-life?

harden the schools, but as a last resort a couple teachers, or school officials who are trained on gun use is the fails safe position

Kids k-5 masks will hurt them

Kids k-5 a story about 2 dads will hurt then

Kids k-5 time for an active shooter drill because nothing will hurt you more than a ban on assault weapons.

I think all Republican Taliban parents would just be happier if all kids were educated with the same curriculum as was taught during the time of "Little House on the Prairie". Do you remember that? It was a simpler time.. there were NO gay people in the world and no one EVER had an abortion!

Still no. Teachers are there to teach. They are not soldiers, neither are the "school officials".

There was supposed to be an armed resource officer at Robb Elementary. He was the first line of defense for those poor kids. I guess he picked the wrong time to call in sick, huh?

which is why you cant rely on 1 person. they might not be able to get to the area in larger multi-buildings
there are ways to do it.

single entrance where possible. automatic locking doors where not. you can even put guns in those locking trigger guards, but it's insane to leave a bunch of kid and teachers without any defenses like this

Um. I appreciate you doing everything you can to avoid the real issue - guns. In my opinion, respectfully, it's the military weapons. Had the kid not had an AR15 the cowardly Uvalde cops would have saved more of the kids.

The military weapons, in the hands of civilians, that can be obtained by someone as evil as Ramos.. need to be OF OUR STREETS.

In my opinion, of course.

You cant raise kids in the security breakdown we are in with also the Elites pushing fear as they have done for decades and have them be generally OK as adults.

This is what one does when they are trying to kill a society.

you dont even know what you are talking about. what is an AR15?
It's a semiautomatic with a bunch of flash on it to make it look more lethal then it is.
He bought a lot of ammo - but clips are still squeezed off one at a time.

A pistol could have killed those unarmed defenseless kids - you want to ban them too?
