Mental health screening should be as routine as physical health screening.

The problem is that there are thousands of loners who were bullied in HS and dropped out. Most of them will only harm themselves. Treat them all. Save lives.

Another, bigger, problem is the stigma of mental health care. It should be routine in order to take away the stigma.

You are advocating limiting the freedom of Americans to semi-automatic rifles and handguns in order to save lives. I'm curious how many lives will be saved by forcibly removing this freedom from Americans.

Woodpecker would often show up as Wood#$%#%^

It was hilarious. Very Right leaning, with heavy moderation. I used to piss them off by putting a space between the letters of my curse words in order to avoid the filter.

Regarding moderation: USMB is heavy right. The two smaller TPFs are heavy right. The big TPF is leans left and Political Hotwire is heavy left.

Mental health is a separate issue altogether, but one that is being used to drown out the actual problem.

How do you keep depressed/manic/schizoid people on their meds? You give them a gun as long as they're medicated?

You do realize that E.D.s in hospitals are routinely visited by medicated people who went off meds because they found a mate and the medication interferes with their sex lives?

These people are brought in by police for violent actions.

Rittenhouse was not mentally disturbed. He was encouraged by rhetoric to go murder people because they were supporting an issue that White Supremacists don't agree with.

The Jan. 6 terrorists are not mentally ill. They are easily encouraged to commit violence.

Going to the Moon was hard. Hard problems are solved step by step. You're advocating not even taking the first step of mental health screening in public schools as a matter of routine.

The call was for more funding for mental health professionals that could de escalate a situation that would otherwise result in a dead black person at the hands of cops.

Only far Left loons like the AOC posse actually believed that there should be no cops.

Hardly a majority. I could easily say that the majority of Republicans support the terrorist attack that occurred on Jan. 6.

And it would be a lie.
