I do like that this forum is lightly moderated. I'm too much of a loose cannon to survive anywhere else. I'm afraid the other side of the sword is that we have to deal with a lot of brainless troll scum. I think it's worth it though. I'm making this forum my new home

I once left this site for a couple of years to post elsewhere
It was exactly the same sans the allowing of dirty words
They are all like this everywhere
I actually came from a very heavily moderated site. I was there for 6 years with several suspensions until I "suicide banned" myself, finally a few days ago. I had a falling out with the site administration and ownership who are heavy "big lie" and "not racism in police departments" believers. It was all for the best...
The thing that cracks me up about that site - when people get banned, several of them make socks and attempt to come back. The admin of that site are pretty sophisticated sock detectors. They're found out soon and are banned again right away. Here's what's making me smile today:
1. I'm not coming back to that site. I'm NOT going to be a sock-maker. But, I'm certain they're all on high alert right now, looking for me to try to come back. Just that alone, cracks me up and:
2. Perhaps you've figured out by now I can be a bit of a controversial character. People tend to take sides with me, and some get pretty emotional about it. When you're suspended, you can still communicate with the membership and many were concerned and reached out via personal message each time I was suspended. I can only imagine the heat the site admins are taking, now that I'm fully banned
I guess what I'm attempting to say in a clumsy way, is that it's all for the best, I'm quite content here, I wish I could still reach to some of the folks in my old forum and let them know I'm fine. But I'm sure they'll figure that out, too.
