I'm curious.....does anyone know what he said that caused the mayor to call him a sick son of a bitch?.......

"This is on you."

in a pitiful attempt to bring some life in to his failing campaign for governor, he interrupted the press briefing. Thus, the mayor called him a sick son of a bitch, and rightfully so

by all means, dazzle us with your facts on how this is on Abbott. and, mind you, i'm no fan of abbott, so i'll be checking your information

Who was it who allowed the 18 year old teenagers to purchase AR-15s without background check and license? Who was it who allows open carry without license?

typical lib'rul reaction.....faced with the murder of 19 children he makes this public statement.....
“The only thing evil is what [Abbott] continues to do to the people of this state,” O’Rourke said.

I think there are things more evil, including interrupting a press conference like this to make a political speech......

Good lord. You are truly evil. Have you no sympathy? He expressed his rage and anger that so many people are feeling. He spoke for them and the families of victims.

since you don't seem to understand federal firearms laws, let me explain this to you.

He legally purchased two AR platform rifles from a federally licensed gun store on two days: May 17 — just a day after his birthday — and May 20, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said.

that means he had a background check. if you have issue with that, take it up with the feds, because that is not on abbott.

secondly, open carry of a long gun has always been legal, however, another FEDERAL law is the gun free school zones act............so take that up with the feds, that is not on abbott.

got any more 'facts' I can show you are wrong?

sympathy with Beto?......fuck no......it was not the time or the place for political posturing.......the families of the victims were gathered there to learn what happened.......not what a candidate for governor wanted to pontificate about......

Thank you for proving my point.

In Texas, you must be at least 18 years old to buy a rifle, and the state does not require a license to openly carry one in public.

Boy you walked right into that.

BTW, the legal age to drink in Texas is 21. :rofl2:

I sure love spanking you! :)

You have no sympathy for the families. Zero.

Know what is despicable? They are having a NRA convention tomorrow in Huston tomorrow where Abbott and Trump will be speaking. So who is really politicizing the tragedy? Hmmm?

he spoke to promote his campaign. he doesn't care about those kids or their families any more than abbott does

Wow. Guess where he went after the press conference? Not to the families but to a fundraiser 300 miles away.

Yeah you're right he does care.
