No, we are well beyond the point where such a simple solution will work. We need to fix American society, for instance we need to have an education system rather than an WOKE indoctrination system, we need to end the Victim Culture Cult which purposefully makes weak and angry people because victims are both their product and their Gods, we need an elite class that looks after America rather than abuses America and weakens America, we need to either reform or reduce the use of social media, we need our journalists back, we need our mental health system back, for starters.

What we have now is what one gets when Christianity is replaced with the Victim Culture Cults WOKE religion, that is probably the main thing.
 
Did you really not understand the cost of allowing so much anti-truth to go unchallenged, not just lies, but the exact opposite of the truth? These mass killings are not about guns, it is about mental illness on the societal level as well as the individual. This is a symptom of the Dark Age we live in, of the dystopia that America has been allowed to become.

There are no easy answers, there are no fast solutions.

Not true .... the people made fun of by the right wing punditry ... the community organizers.... have been screaming for decades for better policing (not an occupying force) in conjunction with community input, laws to close "iron pipelines", universal background checks on all gun sales.

It wasn't until the Brady Bill did the ball get rolling nationally.

Reports in the media on such things have become "routine", so it's the "abnormal" shootings that get the publicity. I wish this wasn't the case, but there you have it.
