Even if lives are lost, however, the lives of the vast majority who survived would be substantially better if America were partitioned--certainly in the Blue States, anyway.

That's certainly an interesting perspective. However, there are baby boomers, myself included, very clearly on both sides of the fence.

I don't remember a huge military revolution when the Soviet Union was partitioned a relatively few years ago.

I Know of the revolution when it was formed. Our union was formed in a confused revolution as well. It can be dissolved peacefully unless certain miscreants want violence.

Some people are concerned about other humans (immigrants) and willing to give the less fortunate a life. That is what our country was founded upon, not bigotry and racism. That is not to mention that the number of those immigrating to this country is insignificant. The democrats (since a juvenile shithead such as yourself can't spell) are not after their vote. Some on the right here seem to say the Hispanics in Texas are republicans anyway so why worry?
