There was no real need to invade when the flaccid orange moron was in office, because he was doing Putin's bidding.

He denied weapons to Ukraine. Putin was doing well in his invasion of eastern Ukraine. Everything was going well, and then trump was thrown out of office.

That's when Putin made the horrible decision to join Hitler in the history books.

Yes, by stopping the Nordstream2, killing off Putin's ally Iran's Big Hero, Soliemani, and killing hundreds of Russians in Syria.

As opposed to handing Putin yellowcake uranium and allowing illegal exports of it, while hiding it from Congress, like Obama did; by not doing shit as Putin invaded Crimea ,like Obama did; by chiding Romney for calling Russia "a threat" n 2012, like Obama did.

And now the whole world knows how Putin and his oligarchs plundered the Russian military, then sent them into battle with shitty equipment, and so far have gotten thousands of them killed.

That's true but doesn't mean that there's a relationship there. I doubt if we'll ever know why Putin attacked.

Correct. trump was funneling Putin classified information, and working to get rid of NATO. Putin had no reason to do anything until trump was tossed out of the White House on his ear.

Trump told Germany getting dependent on Russian energy was dumb. Trump told NATO countries they needed to contribute more to NATO so NATO could better ready in case Russia invaded European countries. Trump was right again.
