The topic of why certain demographics in the US commit a disproportionate share of murders (e.g., men, southerners, the poorly educated, 20-somethings, Blacks, native-born Americans) is definitely an interesting topic. But it's different from the question of whether Biden should be calling out a particular incident.

Some did. Some didn't. Those who did were focused on it as part of a wider pattern -- symbolic of what they perceived as a spate of killings of unarmed Black people, including kids like Martin. With this particular church shooting, it doesn't sound like something that part of a string of similar events.
