Biden approves deployment of US ground forces in Somalia

We have no "national interest" in Somalia, other than maybe ending piracy but that takes naval action, not land action. Maybe we'll end up with 'Blackhawk Down II' because of Joke's stupidity...

U.S. troops will be repositioned from elsewhere in Africa to train and provide other support to Somali forces in their fight against al-Shabab, which is considered the largest and wealthiest affiliate of the al-Qaida extremist organization.

Biden did not start America's war on terrorism- Bush jr. did and rightfully so.

Since we are at war on terrorism, it has been best determined BY ALL US PRESIDENTS EXCEPT DONALD TRUMP, to fight terrorists on their own foreign soil- BEFORE THEY BRING THEIR TERRORISM HERE!

Judging from this thread, the MAGA contingent is keen to surrender to Al Qaeda.

We used to have a bipartisan consensus that America should use special forces and covert ops to degrade Al Qaeda. Evidently, MAGA losers decided they hate Democrats more than they hate Al Qaeda.
