Personally I think its more complex than that, but it seems clear that yes, the American elite are making huge amounts of money from these foreign wars that we spend billions on, but ultimately see no results.

Do you agree?

Yes. And so did President Eisenhower agree.

Let's say for the sake of argument that WW2 was a valid reason for US involvement in a foreign war and Iraq2 was not.....

what criteria do you apply before the fact that permits an accurate distinction between the valid reason and the invalid reason......

A declaration of war as required by the Constitution.

President Eisenhower coined the term, "military industrial complex." As true then as today.

It's true that the Military Industrial Complex makes money off of war.

But, the wars of today are controlled by other methods- Trade Wars, Sanctions, Terrorism, Monopolies, autocracies, The information war, Cyber attacks, money, technology and the stealing of technology, and etc.

What I mean to say, is these other methods may be outpacing the size and effectiveness of militias and their weapons.

So Jane Fonda was correct?

The Vietnam war protests were right!

yes she was right in some ways.

but her ire towards those who served was disgusting.

and she got pow's killed when she went to visit and handed over a note an american prisoner slipped her to the viet cong.

she's still basically human garbage.
