Birthday reminder....

Last month we celebrated a special birthday

Monica Lewinsky turned 36. Can you believe it?

It seems like only yesterday she was crawling around the White House on her
hands and knees, putting everything in her mouth.

They grow up so fast, don't they?

I do miss the days of incredible prosperity, when the worst Presidential scandal was about a simple affair, instead of lying to the country to create an unnecessary war that killed hundreds of thousands, and sleeping through a disaster like Katrina...

You must be at least seventy something, so as Shakespeare said you are due for your second childhood mewling and puking!!

Yeah...the good old days....the tech. bubble was sizzling, I made a few bucks too......

but you must have mis-understood the silly scandal...it was about PERJURY and OBSTRUCTION......you know lying under oath and all the shit....
We didn't like from a nobody like "Scooter" Libby and I liked it even less from President Clinton....but it at least makes clear the double standard of justice for the political partys...

Did that egregious "perjury" kill hundreds of thousands and create a quagmire in the Middle East?

I must have missed that...

i forgot that all clinton's skirt chasing and his great presidential skills were 100% responsible for the E boom.....wow, just..........wow

let's see.....waco....do you really want to act like clinton was an angel? bush didn't sleep through katrina....only hacks like you refuse to blame local government.....

iraq....bush is really responsible for hundreds of thousands?

OMG, how you can say that one with a straight face is laughable..

Thats irrelevant....
Libby's little memory flaw got him jail time and he wasn't even the one that outed Plame...Oh well, its that double standard again....

Hey....Hackity!

Yep - hundreds of thousands.

Here's a hint, Hackity - bravo, who you seem to think has the capability to "own" people - starts threads like this just to provoke.

But it's interesting that you skipped right over his insightful post, here. No, Clinton was no angel - did I assert that? But yes - he did preside over incredible prosperity & relative peace.

And I know that really bugs you hackitys....

Oh - and just to add about Katrina: the local officials were woeful.

But it still was an excellent example & display of what an impossibly bad leader Bush was. He was as bad, if not worse, than the locals.

And I know that bugs you hackitys, also...

Hey ,,, be civil....I don't like being right all the time.....it just happens....

I'm tired of schooling you pinheads on the alleged "Bush lies" and "Bush started the war all by himself" nonsense....etc, etc....
History will get it right....

there have been floods just as bad as Katrina, yet the governments of those states seem to have been able to handle them and you don't keep hearing about them over and over....

How many years are we going to have to hear about KATRINA?

If anything it showed the government in Louisiana was so inept, President Bush had to step in and save all those people, but that is not the spin you will hear from the lefties..

dunceler....hackity is really lame....bordering on outright gay....if this is your first attempt at username nik's....i shall forgive you....just don't let it happen again....

i would like to see some authority for these hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by bush.....

i see....so accordign to you, the leadership means shit.....so long as the president just happens to "preside" or be elected during a time when the country experiences a stock BUBBLE......that tanked right as clinton left office....it had the same life as the real estate BUBBLE......but i guess, according to you, fate didn't hand bush a BUBBLE that ended right after he left office.....

you can do better dunceler....i know you can

LOL....added after he gets called on it

:cof1:

but your first thought and statement was that it was bush's fault....lmao

and no....the locals, by virtue of being locals.....are MORE responsible for the immediate effects

History already has it right, on Iraq & Katrina. You & Bush are on the wrong side, unfortunately.

Keep at it, though; "Bush didn't lie!" and "Bush responded to Kartrina beautifully!" are great rallying cries for 2012....

I've spoken quite a bit on this board & the others about the woeful local officials.

I don't have a chance to vote for New Orleans & Louisiana officials, though. Bush's failures are the ones that reflect more on a national level, so I tend to focus on those a bit more.
