Elon Musk Says He Would Reverse Donald Trump’s Twitter Ban

To whatever platform is available, and/or to the next entrepreneur's "twitter" like creation. As a backup, letters and phone calls are always an option...writing letters to the OP Ed pages, etc. International exchanges will take a beating, but the world survived before Twitter, as it will after twitter.

The genie’s out of the bottle with Twitter. We’ll never go back to the old days of letter to the editor’s etc. Twitter allows anyone to have global reach.

Beg to differ, Wack. When the internet was on full throttle via affordable PC's, the sooth sayers all predicted the end of the newspaper, most magazines, the post office, etc.

Well, that was over 25 years ago. The only way the Post Office goes the way of the dinosaur is if corporate GOP stooge DeJoy isn't removed ASAP, and the DEMS do not reverse the GOP insane rules that are essentially bankrupting the USPS.

Letter's to the editor are alive and kicking ... at least in the Tri-State area (I can't speak for the rest of the country).

And then, there's always e-mail.

Essentially, it's up to folk of mine and your generation to educate the younger generation not to sit on their butts and wait to be told what to do by the profit driven corporate/military/industrial complex.

John McWhorter wrote about this. He said back in the day if people didn’t like what he wrote they could email him to complain or write a letter to the editor. Now with Twitter they can let the whole world know their dislike of him.

Think of police violence. If something is witnessed you can still write a letter to the editor or you can communicate instantly with millions around the world via Twitter what just happened.

This isn’t about profit or anything else. It’s how we now communicate. A new Twitter may be created but the method of communicating will still be the same.

Again, this is not "as goes Twitter, so goes the world".

Nixon put a stop to the Vietnam War because of the protests and escalating conflicts in the country....all without an internet or PC's.

The Civil Rights Movement, the Labor Movement....the most advanced tech communications for the masses at those times were short wave radio & telephones.

It's just a matter of time relevance....if everyone is on the same page, things get done at a certain pace.

I'm not saying dump the internet or improved communications per say, I'm just quoting the late, great Douglas Adams, who said, "DON'T PANIC!" ;)

trump will be back on Twitter in Sept or Oct 2024.

Quite frankly, I could care less. The idiots who think he's for them will keep deluding themselves until doomsday, because admitting they're wrong to "those" people (pick your political/social/ethnic/racial/religious/economic group) is just too much for their little egos to bear.

I like how he said that the Chinese work their asses off, where as Americans do our best to not work at all.

This ends in tragedy for us.

That's fine. He will be trolled and spammed with memes to death. He'll run to Melania crying about his hurt feelings.

He's been trolled and spammed with memes to death by the press and crying assholes like you since 2016. So what's new?

Elon likes slaves. He'll pay a government but pay the workers? No, that's not right.

A lot of people are going to be very disappointed over the next few years by Elon Musk. He's not what most people think he is.

I get the sense that a lot of Tesla employees and ex employees feel that loyalty only goes one way, they feel used.

Not sure about his other companies.
