I absolutely love the double standard you and other liberals apply. For years you've desired the only black Supreme Court justice to be removed but your claim is it's not about race it's about his rulings and how he performs his job. We can go on down the list. But if a Republican doesn't back a liberal who is a minority that same standard doesn't apply, it's now only about race.

When Republicans appoint minorities to positions of power Democrats don't come out and celebrate and say that it's about representation. Because it's not actually about that. It's about political power and ideology. You think it's great when the ideology matches yours.

But you hide behind this veneer of openness and call others racist thinking it gets you off the hook.

Cook's PHD dissertation was on Czarist and Post-Soviet banking. Most of her papers are on economics. You do not seem to understand what economics is.

There seems to be one standard here. Thomas has broken the law, and should be punished whatever his race. Cook is extremely competent, and should be confirmed whatever her race.

What law has Thomas broken that for years has made liberals desire for his removal? (Other than the unwritten law that minorities shouldn’t be conservative/Republican?). What laws have other minority Republicans broken when Democrats don’t vote for them (while promoting that we need more diversity in multiple areas?)
 
I would be shocked if there were not at least 5000 white men more qualified for the position.
