If you are Pro-Life???

No one is overturning abortion or banning it meathead. Try to stay on point or just STFU. :palm:

They're not overturning abortion. They're overturning Roe - which you said they weren't doing.

Sounds like you might be flailing. You're definitely trying to move the goalposts.

Just say you were wrong. It's not that bad.

Yes, it is being reversed. NO, it is not banning per the loony left. Try to keep up Popeye. :palm:

Agreed. What’s next? Reverse the 13th Amendment? Gay marriage?

Public trust in SCOTUS is down to 40% and, after all of this, I expect it to be a lot lower. The Tea Party AKA Alt-Right got their wish: Americans are losing trust in their own government.

THERE IS NO AMENDMENT PROTECTING ABORTION, DUMBFUCK = THE POINT.

Hello Jarod,

Notice they have no comment here.

It is the great fooling job that the so much of the right actually votes against their own better interest.

They are fooled into thinking they are richer with the right, but the super-rich they support are raking it in while everybody else is getting peanuts.

If you are pro-life, and Roe v. Wade is overturned...

Would you support a governor for President who did not do all he could do to attain an outright ban? After all that means he supports "murder of innocent babies", right?

Note: Not a single Trumpper willing to address the question.

I am pro-life when considering this question at the level of the individual regarding whether or not a living, unborn human is a living human or not a living human.

I support the availability of abortion within our society because our society refuses to care for the unwanted new borns. This reality is a shockingly horrifying reality.

It is possible to to not be imprisoned by the idea that there is only one of two possible, very limited and limiting positions with no nuance or ability implied to discuss options.

Are you confined to the prison of two ideas?

I feel that it is important to accept the realities that this topic presents and the shortcomings, weaknesses and injustices of our society that it reveals.

Tactics employed to end discussion instead of explore options are not useful.

I agree to a large extent. Any solution will be a compromise or nuanced law. The problem is when its framed as murder, there is no room for compromise. The other problem is the Republicans use of the issue as a wedge. The never really wanted it banned, but it appears its about to happen. They will pay for it.

My problem is that the way the opinion is written, its about WAY more than abortion, it ultimate gives the government more power to regulate our freedom.

You ask that someone address the OP. OK, I will take as direct of an approach as I can.

If DeSantis is the Repubilican nominee and he runs against Biden, I will vote for DeSantis. As I see it the options are:

1. Vote for Biden with whom I disagree on a myriad of issues, two of which are extremely impportant to me, who would, no doubt, make abortion much more accessible.

2. Vote for DeSantis, with whom I agree on several issues, and even though he might not want to outright ban abortion, I do not believe he will do anything to make it more accessible.

3. Not vote.

I am sure that most "progressives" would rather pro-life people choose option 1 or 3 but I ain't gonna.

I understand that position, so, from your perspective, you would vote for someone who you believe allows murder, but less of it than the other guy?

That is a practical reasonable position. I will point out that you have a 4th option, which would be to vote for a third option.

Thank you for being the only one willing to take a position.
