Many women who would normally get an abortion for unwanted pregnancies will have their entire lives disrupted in ways that would take too long to list here. Depending on a wide variety of circumstances, they will suffer emotionally, economically, possibly physically.

Our particular constitutional republic guarantees rights for both men & women. Though, coincidentally, women have had to fight for equal rights since the inception of the republic. That is ongoing.
They will when states ban abortions. Some states even want to put women in prison for abortion.
about 50% of eligible citizens vote. the winner gets around 25% approval from the governed. nobody in my lifetime has got consent of the governed per your use here
